Swimming to escape heat

Kathmandu,Jestha 6,The climate is getting hotter and hotter with the touch of Jestha, With the rise in temperature, people are seeking different ways to escape the sweltering heat, swimming has become the greatest option to tackle the heat.
Swimming has become a regular part of metro life. People go for swimming for various reasons such as to pass time, to stay fit, to have fun etc. Whatever the reason may be but, it is gaining popularity day by day.
Six swimming pools of capital are the destination of swimming lovers. It includes Hotel Shahansha International (Dhapasi), Nature Club (Dhapasi), Mahendra Police Club (Exhibition road), Hotel Himalaya (kupondole), Greenwich Hotel (Sanepa) and International Club (Sanepa).
In this heat sweltering season almost every swimming pool can be found packed especially during fridays and saturdays. Almost all the pools have coaches and trainers as well as life guards to secure the swimmers.
"We are here to have fun and pleasure togeher. It is good to swim to escape the hotness of sun" says Dipesh Lama, who was swimming in Mahendra Police Club along with his friends.
At the age of 34, Aarati Ghimire of Maitidevi has come to learn swimming at Nature Club Dhapasi. She says"I am here to learn swimming to lose my weight."
Though the reason of swimming may be any, it is obvious that it gives pleasure and makes a swimmer fit and healthy. Moreover swimming is far more beneficial than the people think.
